The Bahamas has issued a hurricane warning for the Turks and Cacios islands as Hurricane Ike promises to threaten that area within the newxt 24 hours.
Weather officials said forecast models take Ike through the Florida Keys as a Category 4 hurricane into the Gulf of Mexico, possibly by Monday.
